Job Description
MedWatchers is looking to hire representatives to assist the pharmacist team. Essential duties and responsibilities include:
- Making outbound calls to patients who qualify for medication therapy management services on behalf of their health plan.
- Receiving inbound calls from patients pertaining to various services being provided such as medication therapy management, adherence, etc.
- Collaborating with MedWatchers’ pharmacists to optimize operations.
- Demonstrating positive interactions with patients’ involving patient medications.
- Utilizing multiple platforms to provide a seamless experience for the patient.
- Accessing challenging patient situations: responding appropriately to patient needs and requests.
- Identifying potential medication issues/concerns and escalating to MedWatchers’ pharmacists.
- Adhering and meeting MedWatchers’ expectations of high customer satisfaction standards.
Required Qualifications
- Pharmacy Technician Licensed (PTCB preferred) or other experience related in healthcare.
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology and medication names (brand and generic).
- Customer service experience in a medical or pharmacy setting and/or call center experience.
- Ability to understand and interpret medical information.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize needs to meet required timelines.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must be a self-starter and have the ability to work independently or with a team.
- Basic working knowledge of MS Office programs (Excel, Outlook, Teams).
- Responsible and reliable with a track record of good attendance.
- Multilingual is a plus.
